Westown’s first residential development SHONGWENI-ECO PARK launched on Thursday 27 March 2025 and will break ground in May 2025.
A development by Balwin Properties, Shongweni-Eco Park forms part of Balwin’s Classic Collection and offers 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, with the ground floor apartments offering private gardens with spacious balconies on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors.
Shongweni-Eco Park will include 1 260 apartments that will be built over the next few years, the first phase to be completed in early 2026. This signals the first of 3 000 units to be built in the Westown Urban Core with a total of 20 000 units set to bring a rich residential element to the greater Shongweni development.
