This week the South African Planning Institute (SAPI) holds the 9th Planning Africa conference in Durban and Westown formed part of the SAPI conference program with a technical tour of the site on Sunday 18th August.
The team and conference delegates discussed a range of planning and development topics related to the New City of the West.
The focus of the 2024 event being held at the Elangeni Hotel from 18th to 21st August is Sustainable Futures: From Theory To Practice and aims not only to promote the planning profession across all sectors but to create opportunities for Planners to engage and find solutions to critical issues affecting the continent.
